about joanna

Passion   |   Redemption   |   Pursuit

The three words above describe the basis of God's good work in Joanna. She went from being a woman who hated the things of the Lord, pursuing all of her own means of love and security, to being a woman who had an unmistakable encounter with the Lord, and could no longer deny Him. He pursued her, and taught her in return, the value of a life long pursuit of Him. Her story is one of redemption - through self-absorbed behavior, chasing things of the world, and eventually though the dark landscape of sexual sin and the impacts of life choices that had caught up to her.

Joanna can boldly speak on topics such as:

Sexual sin, including homosexuality

Purity before and after marriage

Same sex attraction

Redemption & Restoration

Pursuing a new life in Christ

The narrow road of holiness

Love versus affection

Identity with the Lover of our soul

Understanding God's Word, personally

Submission, as a single woman, a girlfriend, and as a wife

The value of being "claimed" and "named"
